The Royal has 260 rooms including two suites and the original Arne Jacobsen designed Suite 606. All guest rooms have recently been renovated with a stylish and modern touch and feature the best in Danish design and with respect for Arne Jacobsen's design. All rooms feature views of Copenhagen and comse with services and facilities expected of a five star hotel.
Rooms with a view over the Tivoli Gardens are available upon request and are subject to availability. Non-smoking rooms and rooms for disabled guests are available upon request.
Guests staying in Royal Club rooms and suites can enjoy the Super Breakfast Buffet at the signature Alberto K restaurant on the 20th floor. While the restaurant is closed during Christmas a continental breakfast can be served in the room or suite. |

Room 606 is the only hotel room with the original Arne Jacobsen décor from July 1960 when the hotel first opened its doors. With the grey, blue-green colours, the wenge wood and a selection of the most representative furniture designed for the hotel, this room takes its visitors to another time and place. Room 606 functions as a regular guestroom and is a must for Arne Jacobsen fans and design lovers. 606 offers state-of-the-art Bang & Olufsen TV and Royal Club amenities. Hotel guests with an interest in design are welcome to visit Room 606, when it is available. Arne Jacobsen designed the famous Egg and Swan chairs for the Royal as well as the lesser known and rare Drop chair. The room features other details like built-in makeup mirrors, radio and intercom system. |
